Now that you have completed your sketch and cost-estimation sheet, you are ready to begin construction on your final zoo blueprint!
Use the large paper to draw your zoo. Add details, such as signs, buildings, and animals, to your map. Choose colors that stand out, but are not too distracting.
For each animal you choose, you must make a label that tells what vertebrate group (mammal, fish, reptile, amphibian, bird) it belongs to and why you put that animal where you did in the zoo. This can be done directly on the zoo map, or you can make a flap for people to lift and find out more about that animal. A drawing or picture of that animal should be included, too.
